Tropical Green Smoothie Recipe

Tropical Green Smoothie

I LOVE green smoothies and this blend is one of my absolute favorites. It’s packed with vitamin C and mixing banana and pineapple together makes me feel like I am on vacation. I originally started making this smoothie after I had a similar one at a juice bar. and became obsessed with it.

I made my own version, omitting the almond butter from the original, because I prefer the additional fiber from flax and chia seeds instead and it also frees up my day to have almonds or nuts later in the day.  This smoothie is refreshing, creamy and you’ll get an extra boost of energy to kickstart your day by adding spirulina.

Enjoy the recipe and leave your comments, I’d love to hear from you.
