As an approved continuing education provider for the Florida Board of Massage Therapy, I provide continuing education courses that meet the state’s requirement for license renewal. The board requires 12 continuing education hours of live hands-on training every two years. The next renewal deadline is August 31, 2019. Don’t wait until the deadline to meet your requirements. Register today for any combination of CE hours and keep your license current. Completed courses are reported to CE Broker within 24 hours and updated automatically to your license.
For my students only, I offer the remaining Florida 12 CE for a discounted rate of $30 covering the required online portion of Medical Errors, Ethics, Law, Communicable Diseases and Aromatherapy.

Reiki Level 1 – 8 CE
This level 1 reiki course is based on the healing practice of the Usui Reiki system. You will learn the history of Reiki, the lifestyle of reiki, self-treatment, hand positions for treating others, and be given a demonstration on how to channel Universal Source energy for clients. There is also an attunement which initiates you into the practice. This course also includes an introduction to the chakra energy system and energy balancing. Students receive a certificate as a Reiki Practitioner. No previous experience in energy healing or reiki are required. Read Reiki Level 1 Course Outline.
Reiki Level 2 – 8 CE
In this level 2 reiki training, you will learn advanced techniques to work with reiki energy. There is heightened sensitivity and self awareness during this stage of reiki training that is awakened in the level 2 attunement. You will learn three reiki symbols for healing, meditation for healers, how to perform long distance healing, learn advanced chakra energy balancing treatments, and how to infuse essential oils and crystals into a reiki session. This course certifies students as Advanced Reiki Practitioners. Reiki level 1 certification is required for this course. LMTs receive a discount for enrolling in reiki level 1 and 2 together. Reiki Level 3 – 8 CE
This course is for those who want to learn reiki at a master level. Students will learn additional skills to enhance your reiki practice and receive guidance from your reiki guides. You will receive a master attunement, become a higher reiki channel, receive the master symbols, and learn how to attune others. You will leave with the skills to teach reiki to others and receive a reiki master certification. Reiki level 1 and 2 are required for this course. Read Reiki Level 3 Course Outline.
Aromatherapy Foundations for Massage Therapists – 6 CE
This course is designed for massage therapists interested in incorporating essential oils into their practice. Aromatherapy Foundations covers the 10 most useful oils for massage and shows you how to make custom blends for your clients for pain relief, stress and other common health concerns. You will gain an understanding of the safety, application methods, dilutions and therapeutic effects of oils. This course is essential to massage therapists seeking to enhance their massage practice using aromatherapy. No previous essential oil experience is necessary.

Introduction to Essential Oils -2 CE
Interested in essential oils but don’t know where to start? This course covers the uses and benefits of essential oils, its history and use through modern times, application methods and the top oils for massage therapists. You’ll will leave with an understanding of how aromatherapy works and how to use it in your practice.
Yoga For Self-Care & Injury Prevention – 6 CE
Have you been told that your massage career will be short lived because of injuries that result in wrist, shoulder and back pain? Injuries can cut your career short but there are preventative actions you can take to keep doing what you love. This workshop is designed to give massage therapists longevity, health and prevent on-the-job injuries. Yoga is a mindful practice that brings harmony to the mind and body through breath and movement. We will cover active and restorative yoga poses to improve alignment and body mechanics during massage services. You’ll learn yoga poses to improve posture, increase flexibility, strength and mobility. You’ll also learn breathing and meditation techniques that promote deep relaxation and help heal the body by lowering stress levels and get you out of fight or flight mode. The techniques shared in this course will prepare you to create your own daily yoga practice for self care. You can also use it in between clients to energize yourself before your next treatment. No yoga experience is necessary and course is open to all levels.
